100%. His range and arm aren't needed over at 1B so that negates any fielding/picking ability he'll provide. Unless he can show pull-side power or just hitting the ball hard in general, moving positions doesn't provide much added value.

Also in 12 seasons, over 1,600 games, Arenado has never played a position other than 3B.
