Like, I'm ready to trust that it's real, it's just weird that the moon has a green shadow, and something about the earth looks like a stock photo. Is this just artifacting or something?
EPIC is centered on the earth, and the moon moves between each frame, resulting in the green halo.

So used to seeing fair Luna beside the Earth or as a simple dot on a orrery...seeing it overlaid on our home like this just kinda feels...I dunno! Off, somehow?

Also, R, G and B frames are taken separately, and the moon moves between each, resulting in some blurring.
A couple of times a year the moon passes between the earth and DSCOVR, and this is what we see.
