Yo democrats, this is why they are able to get him in twice. They don't care who they vote for as long as it feeds their fear and hatred.
I would vote for Pete because he is an intelligent gay man. I wouldn't think twice. I didnt think twice about not voting for djt. He was a no from the start.
If I were to say, "we are not ready for a gay man as president" What I am saying is "I am not ready for a gay man as president"
I have voted red in the past. And there r times democrats piss me off. Especially when they don't stick together. I am 72 not sure i have another vote. Buts it all Blue
No. #1 recipient of billionaire donations in 2020. When has he said the words he will guarantee universal Health Care, free childcare, free college, and all of the things that we know the United States can afford?"Trump bad" aint enough anymore even if it sounds really pretty like Obama
No. I like him but I agree that he’s too corporate/moderate. The democrats will lose unless they run a populist progressive (Sanders, which won’t happen bc he’s too old; AOC, or Walz, though he’s probably too moderate as well; Castro - potentially).
This! Pete has chosen not to run for governor or senator in Michigan. Both positions have no incumbent running. He really needs the experience he'd gain from serving in either position.
I really love AOC for president, if she decides to run, she has fought against the current administration the most and boycotted events she didn't agree with.
I'd love Pete for VP or Pres if she doesn't run. He debates beautifully. He's sharp. Young. I'd consider voting for him!
I am so sorry that in this day and age I have to agree. He’s terrific and would make a great leader. But he can’t win. I would LOVE to be proven wrong.
Yeah, he would be the best president we've ever had. But there are too many closet homophobes in both parties. When the election is down to a few percentages, you can't run somebody who brings baggage to the table. Lesson learned with Hillary having so many negatives that she failed to overcome.
will he go against AIPAC ? Will he go against market trading for government ? will he fight to stop lobbying ? will he fight corruption within government ? will he go against wall street ? just a few...
Have you lost your mind? We couldn’t get 2 women to be President though both were wholly qualified. You really think we can get a gay man elected? I absolutely love and respect this man but we would lose again bigly. Don’t be a fool. Our country is in crisis. Don’t piss away another election.
No I wouldnt. While I wouldnt be completely against him serving on the next Presidents cabinet. He still bows to corporate interests and that shit needs to be over with.
Remember the Billionaires and the wine caves! We need Citizens United taken down and no more billionaires running the country!
I would like to offer a respectful alternative view.
Pete worked for McKinsey for 3 years. It was his first job out of college. He was an entry level graduate. He was not a partner or decision maker. He left to pursue public service, and never went back.
Look then at his time as Transportation Secretary. He stood up to airlines, held his ground with some of the biggest corporate interests out there, and they caved to give everyday travellers much better enforceable rights.
Listen to his words, which are matched by actions. He’s powerfully spoken up
for ordinary people against corporations, he’s passionately defended the role and necessity of government at a time when many Democrats have been almost embarrassed to speak up for the idea of government.
If Pete now were somehow to take a big, well paid cushy corporate gig then I’d be proven wrong
Many, many other Democrats have done so and will continue to do so. Pete hasn’t. So I don’t stay quiet when people claim that he has sold out to corporate interests when the opposite is true.
1/2 He never got the nomination. Bernie Sanders refused to take money from Billionaires & special interests, Kamala was rubbing shoulders with the rich in the Hamptons & Pete was rubbing shoulders with the rich in a wine cavern.
I love Pete, but not sure he is the correct person for the moment we're in right now. Not sure who is, but then I'd never heard of Barack Obama until 2007 either.
They are going to try to decimate whoever runs, so it doesn’t matter. Most likely if he tries to run they will make a law against women and LGBT people running for President.
I love Pete. He is the smartest man in the room and could do that job today. But, like everyone said, the Repubs and apparently some Dems would never vote for a gay man. He'd be the best, but we have to win, and can't take a chance on anything that could derail the chances. Sorry Pete!
I adore Pete but if you were right we would be talking about president Harris right now. We would not be defending Pete’s right to marry who he chooses.
No. He is the best man for the job but this bigoted country will not elect a gay man, to our shame. I would love to see this accomplished intelligent man as president.

VP maybe under Shapiro?
Hate to say it but a white straight man in 2028. Racism is too rampant right now.

That’s his corporate history. All of it.

Is their money not allowed to be given to a candidate because of the amount of money they have accumulated?
What is your cutoff point for a person’s worth to be acceptable?
Not sure where your “bowing to corporate interests” comes from.
Care to elaborate?
Would be wonderful to have someone intelligent & articulate in the WH again !
We need brains at this point in our history.
We don't deserve a President Pete
