It’s sort of right there man. You teach a person to be a hammer (successful killing machine) every problems a nail (terrorist act).

I think it’s actually deeper than that. For many vets, I know as we get older & we think more about the reasons we were in the places we were, doing the things we were ordered to do, our stomachs tighten into knots every time someone thank us for our service.

Yet, we smile & say “don’t mention it”

Lots of people seem to concentrate on PTSD stemming from things that happened to you. You can also have PTSD from remembering things you’ve done.
