Ambulance drivers need to start asking people, church or hospital? If you really think your god is going to do more than your doctor, then have them dump you at church. The rest of us will have more room at the hospitals, and more time with our doctors.
Unless they're straight-up refusing treatment in favor of prayer, I fail to see how it's anyone's business. The doctor sounds like a jerk in her own right.
GOP jesus: "Your claim for prayers has been denied. You have not been paying your 10% weekly contributions. There's also a $3,000 deductible before prayer coverage can begin."
Someone praying is good, but if it can be solved with antibiotics (or the medicines to treate that disease, not evetything is caused by bacteria) no need for miracles.
I have not seen any reports stating that prayer hurts. I've seen more reports on how prayer helps. Prayer offers you self-reflection. Prayer helps you find your best way forward. True health care is a race to the bottom.
Someone is praying and prayers are necessary. But also we're commanded to not tempt God. If it can be solve thanks to the doctor no need to pursue miracles.
If a doctor says this, she's a brain-rotted nitwit. Best to get a new doctor, a better one who doesn't let her political biases interfere with her medical duty.
I love the one solid research case on praying - for speedy recovery from a common minor op.
1) huge sample of patients prayed for, and they knew it
2) =sample prayed for, didn't know it
3) =sample not prayed for.
2 & 3 results - same
Group 1 did WORSE in recovery time than the other two.

I bet Kenneth Copeland's private jet fuel bill is almost as expensive as eggs these days?
