My landlord’s reasons for a 2025 rent increase:

1). I’ve transferred ownership to my son and I want to make sure he’s good.

2). I haven’t increased the rent over the years at the rate of the market.

3). The cost of repairs (water heater, etc.)

He’s not added any value whatsoever to this house.
