Everything Everywhere All At Once has been my #1 for almost three years now. Nothing has come close after numerous rewatches in theaters, planes, homes, etc. The obvious reasons being is that it’s hilarious, heartfelt, exciting, unique, transgressive, and boundary crushing in so many ways…

But the reason why EEAAO is my favorite of 2022 is that it’s THE movie that kicked off me making Things Will Be Different. I showed EEAAO to my dad knowing he’d love it. We then talked about it over coffee for hours, which then led me breaking the story of TWBD with him for another hour after.

So in short, without Everything Everywhere All At Once, I’m not sure if I would’ve figured out and eventually made Things Will Be Different. It’s one of the most influential movies of my life and one of the best movies ever made.

I was a big fan of Elvis, The Menu and Barbarian. Glass Onion was fun too.
