Hahaha yesss

This episode of The Rehearsal may truly be one of the best episodes of television I’ve ever seen.

Getting a job in games media seemed almost unattainable when I broke in back in 2005. In the years since, it’s become almost impossible and ultimately inadvisable. I can’t imagine trying to break in today. Independent is pretty much the only option now. Support your favorite creators directly.

#TheEndless is 8 years old. Our 3rd movie remains our most beloved, made by too many amazing artists to tag here, but been thinkin — wait for the 10 year mark for the next chapter?

Credits on Blue Prince. 59 Days. I love video games.

Genuinely can’t wait to see audiences discover this haunting and awesome movie at the Tribeca Film Festival. Congrats to @peterhallhuman.bsky.social and @paulgandersman.bsky.social for on this enormous accomplishment.

Few hours in, Blue Prince is absolutely my jam and now I can’t sleep

Appa is ENRAPTURED by Babe: Pig In The City

This is so great it’s giving me an existential panic.

The Studio ruuuuules!

Heading back to SXSW thisssss weekend. If you’re there, hit me up and lfg!!!!

There’s a cool lil sci-fi movie called THINGS WILL BE DIFFERENT that I watched at Overlook last year and it’s on Hulu now. Heady and emotional. Treat yourself to something original.

This ruuuules. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who watched or shared our movie on Hulu this weekend.

Staying in this weekend? Check out THINGS WILL BE DIFFERENT, a lo-fi brain twisty time travel movie in which a pair of bank robbers take shelter in an alternate dimension/timeline to wait out the heat and get more than they bargained for. The feature debut of director Michael Felker & it's on HULU.

Things Will Be Different is now on HULU. Thank you to everyone who’s supported the film so far and to everyone who’s diving in here for the first time. Spin some clocks, sit back, and enjoy🫡 🕰️

The Gorge is a ton of fun. Really dug the world building. The romantic chemistry was such a breath of fresh air. Enjoyed it so so much. See it in some deep dark cavern with big projection and loud as hell speakers

This was such a blast and @scarystuffpodcast.com are my new favorite people. Dive in and enjoy!

#SaveThePCC Some of you may have read about the situation regarding our new landlord wishing to add a new redevelopment break clause, with only 6 months notice to our lease. For now, we're simply asking you all to share & sign the petition below; you.38degrees.org.uk/p/princechar...

#RIPDavidLynch

If there's anything I hope young creatives take from David Lynch, it's to reject the modern IP-driven impulse to explicitly explain and cleanly categorize the logic behind every single event and decision inside and outside of a story at least some of the time.

Went to Bob’s Big Boy for lunch out of love for David Lynch. Sat at the counter and met many others doing the same thing. Some were fans getting coffees + shakes. Others were colleagues who shared their favorite Lynch diner stories. A truly magical moment needed during a dark time for this city.

After David Lynch used my apartment to shoot some of INLAND EMPIRE, he stayed in touch via random phone calls. Every one of them was a treasure. His art has been part of my life since I was a child. The world just got a little less weird, and we are all poorer for it. Fix your hearts or die.

This is devastating. Ben is as good an egg as there is in this town. I am heartbroken for him and his family.

hey pals, my friend @benmekler.bsky.social lost literally everything in the eaton fire. his home in altadena was burned to the ground. him and his wife, two kids, and dog have a long road ahead of them.

Ben Mekler ( @benmekler.bsky.social ) who many of us know from Screenwriting Twitter and/or the WGA strike lines has lost his home, shortly after welcoming his second child. www.gofundme.com/f/ben-and-ki...

Meet Appa, our four-month-old ‘lil orange button and new Felker clan member

I’m weird and don’t make an annual top movies list till a couple years later after awards have passed and I’ve finally caught up on movies. So here are my favorite films from 2022, an amazing year for films that go even beyond these 25

Started, beat, and platinumed in one week. The most joyous thing I’ve experienced all year. Astrobot GOTY

I’d gladly pay a monthly subscription for this channel that only plays @mst3kofficial.bsky.social

New favorite thing: Statecations. Basically just driving somewhere in your state for a vacation. That perfect middle ground between getting out of town and no stress or expense of air travel

As a recent Jewish convert, it’s still a little strange not celebrating Christmas. But taking a week off at the end of the year to do nothing but do puzzles/catch up on movies and video games with fam, it’s basically the same thing. Happy holidays everyone!

So long What We Do In The Shadows. Y’all surprised me on release and comforted me during quarantines and productions. Remained hilarious till the very end. Loved this show

A truly amazing honor to be included in @antbit.bsky.social top 10 films of 2024 for @sightsoundmag.bsky.social. Thank you for recognizing our film and the kind kind words 🙏

Yes yes yes to @cassiekeet.bsky.social!!

And now his watch has ended. RIP to Snow, my shoulder boy for the last 10 years. Cancer sucks. Will love you forever.

Showed the wife Happy Gilmore for her first time and man did it play just as well for her as it did for me 25+ years ago. Still hilarious. One of the great comedy screenplays of our generation.
