I have especially fond memories of the interactive Flash Gordon showings.
In late 2024, Aziz's property company, Criterion Capital, became associated with the planned closure of the world's first YMCA, located on London's Great Russell Street.

Criterion Capital have a very recent history of trying to close historic London landmarks in the name of redevelopment.

You are a vital part of culture and cinema.
Although it's been more than two decades since this was used in anger, (I've ranged far south of the M25) I'm honoured to be a member of PCC.
@musicvenuetrust.bsky.social have been campaigning - successfully it seems - for large arenas and stadia music venues to pay a levy to support grassroots music venues, we need a similar transfer of revenue from streaming giants to cinemas.
Don’t sign any petitions they rarely work, instead they provide the freeholder with much needed indication how valuable and popular this site is. Instead fundraise fast!!
