Deft work by handlers of the International Revolutionary Marxist Tendency to Establishment politician pipeline.
Gongs all 'round!
"The head of MI5.. is Jonathan Evans who was particularly grateful to Starmer for his decision not to prosecute MI5 for their role in.. CIA’s overseas torture programme"
You people who are shoutin̈g and condemning these proposals are in the fortunate position of being 'time rich'.
I fully agree that the sick and disabled should be well looked after, but I'm getting a bit sick of the workers having to shoulder the burden of the shirkers
So shout about that!
I agree, but if it raises some money, I'd want that spent on improvements to the NHS, NHS dentistry, schools and the country's decaying infrastructure.
I don't want it spent on the 1 in 8 school leavers not in work, training or education, who are preparing themselves for a life of idleness.
Less fortunate? I had my first job at 15. Yes I had the opportunity of further education but I worked every school holiday and paid my 'board'.
There was poverty in the post-war Britain where I grew up, you had to really work at getting a job, because the alternative was grim.
I would. Because if the overall system could be improved, I would like it to include those otherwise destined to be "shirkers" who don't quite fit into the rather narrow system set up for those who conform more easily. We're missing out on a lot of good people at present.
Zionist, Thatcher worshiping imposter running a Labour government which victimises the old, vulnerable and disabled. Never thought I would see that in my lifetime.
Haha no, if true and they're going to hack away at disability benefits, will be akin to lib dems in coalition in 2010s. Wolfs in sheep's clothing type politics.
I guess my point is that the pandemic caused a lot of the health issues that ppl are now experiencing. The need for help is GREATER now than it was then. So if you are someone who said that then, then you shd be even more supportive of that now.
Oh yes I'm in total agreement! And as well as the health implications of Covid, there is the economic impact of Covid (and war in Ukraine) affecting the options available. Totally different landscape.
Catastrophically dumb for anybody to use stuff like that as an example of being unprincipled.

Or maybe as he puts it: Radical Labour
Compassion-broken promises-empathy-fairness - all now in the hole together with the poor & disabled
Starmer trying to be the international statesman - but screwing the vulnerable on his home turf is a matter of shame
