"28 Years Later" was shot over the summer with a bunch of adapted iPhone 15s, WIRED has learned, making the Hollywood thriller, with its budget of $75 million, the biggest movie to date filmed with smartphones.

Danny Boyle should be talked about with the same level of fandom as people like Nolan or Del Toro; he’s been at the forefront of digital filmmaking for decades, and even before that, his style has always been unique and somehow also universal. I love every one of his films that I’ve seen
Great article, I remember being amazed/vaguely annoyed about Boyle’s use of digital vs film for 28 days later, but not noticing the difference at the time. Hard to believe 480 looked okay…
