NEW: The chief information officers of at least three major government agencies have been replaced by Silicon Valley executives, including from Palantir and Elon Musk's SpaceX.

I’m so spitting mad at Musk and friends that my mouth is dry. I’m so screaming mad my voice is gone. Who the fuck is representing the people. Who the fuck is going to stop this shit.
They are trying to replace democracy with some fucked up form of Technofeudalism. This is what Musk, Thiel and others believe. It's a fire alarm fucking fire!
👀The DOE oversees U.S. national energy policy and energy production, the research and development of nuclear power, the military's nuclear weapons program, and the nuclear reactor production for the United States Navy
They’re going to turn us into biodiesel. I have never been so terrified for the Us. Why didn’t Biden use his immunity to stay in office until republicans could put someone up who believes in the constitution? Why did they ignore experts warnings? Is anyone coming to save us? @raskin.house.gov
I just realized your biodiesel comment was related to a convo between Curtis Yarvin and Musk(?) . Yes these tech Bros view the rest of us as parasites.
The Democratic Party is still completely naïve to the strength of a cult that rich tech men want to join.
Was waiting for Thiel’s neomonarchist ilk to surface - technocratic oligarchs are flocking to the federal government’s scaphism like maggots to rotten meat
It's the Musk-Thiel administration. Musk owns Trump and Thiel owns Vance. Vance was a nobody in politics until Thiel recruited him and funded his Senate campaign in 2022.
Watching from the apartment above the meth lab, it's pretty wild that your gun nuts and conspiracy theorists voted *for* a conspiracy of oligarchs to destroy democracy, seize control of the federal government via the back rooms, and send armed federal agents to kick down doors and drag people away.
I’d like to think something is brewing in the background and they are being as careful and meticulous as possible. All rebellions start off quiet in order to maintain an edge
For sure, but while the other party is abhorrent and literally unable to govern they have messaging down. If Dems addressed things the way the other side does it doesn't matter if they had control or not, they would incite voters to be more aware and active--just as the Rs have done; out of power.
The problem is..the people who voted for them are so staunch in their stance.. They will always believe the Dems are lying. That's the cruz of our problem here. Blindly following someone because they have an (R) or (D) behind their name
Very true, but the tipping point in that instance is money. When they start losing it, things change as it’s deeply personal and not some esoteric thing the news keeps telling you.
Exactly. They are not the party in power so they’re limited to using the courts. But even when judges rule in their favor, compliance and enforcement is a problem.
Conflicts of interest aside, I highly doubt that any of these people have allegiance to our country and basic values. Their allegiance is to self, technology, money.
Alex Karp: “Palantir is here to disrupt and make the institutions we partner with the very best in the world and, when it’s necessary, to scare enemies and on occasion kill them,”
The courts are holding rn. His executive orders are being blocked and appealed up to the supreme court where the the Republicans have a 6-3 majority. If those courts deny him, which they should, theyll have a choice to make. Follow the rule of law/constitution or ppl will be in the st.
I would bet folding money that 80% of Americans are not aware that most of this is happening, and 80% of the remainder don't really understand the implications of a hostile takeover of the software and data systems that effectively *are* the administrative state, and its many functions.

And enough smug liberals stayed home because “genocide” or they couldn’t be bothered/weren’t happy with Harris.
It was close. And it should not have been.
Best of luck to the sane ones with what comes next.
What could go wrong? 😑
