QuickStart was simple but when I plugged in to update music, most songs in my playlists disappeared from the iPhone and iTunes playlists, and all mp3s disappeared from the phone. I’ve re-imported files repeatedly and see songs in my library but haven’t gotten the phone to recognize the mp3s. 😭

Saying you won't lose anything is incorrect. Any apps no longer in the App Store will NOT migrate to your new phone, despite the fact that you paid for them, no matter how indispensable they are to you. Absolutely infuriates me. I can't give up my old phone because of this nonsense, I need both.
