… most schools, even blue chip programs, lose money on athletics but participate in D1 #NCAA athletics anyway for a variety of complicated (and not so complicated) reasons… 2/

… so rather than throw their hands up in desperation or pass the pain onto the faculty and staff that keep the lights on for less than they deserve to be paid, university administrators should realize that they have considerable leverage—they just have to think outside the box. End/
