But what about...

1. Marketing and selling those custom balloons and valves you make?
2. Using your mechanical interests to start a side business?
3. Making an app to fit a niche need?

A day job with steady income helps you build up *your* stuff.

Yeah, I have thought of this a lot. I need to get back into the balloon stuff. Hate to say my career has been so killer on my mental health its hard for me to do anything sexual or exciting on the weekdays. Just zero motivation. Why bother.

It's more common than you think. Stress kills libido, and you're not the only one experiencing that currently. *bearhugs* Seriously, I know so many unhappy people right now.

If you can carve out some time and energy to build something of your own, maybe you can pave a way out of government work.

It's worth it. I've been unemployed a year and a half now, and employers are still playing games with ghost ads and abusive hiring. But I'm making time to work on my writing.

Feels exhausting most days, but also rewarding.
