I literally cannot leave my current shit employment without paying $130k.
My current supervisor has interpreted policy to mean I cannot practice my expertise for pay outside of the office.
As far as I can tell I have no outlets.

But what about...
1. Marketing and selling those custom balloons and valves you make?
2. Using your mechanical interests to start a side business?
3. Making an app to fit a niche need?
A day job with steady income helps you build up *your* stuff.
If you can carve out some time and energy to build something of your own, maybe you can pave a way out of government work.
Feels exhausting most days, but also rewarding.
