I learned today from a Finn that y'all did not get [adult swim] cartoons over here and that's a huge shame cuz I feel like y'all woulda loved Metalocalypse

As an American living abroad, it is incumbent on you to remember that most of the world was not exposed to the same shows as you & won’t understand references.

There's a lot of crossover in Finland, especially since they're pretty involved in the western internet! But they got SpongeBob for example, and the first thing I saw when I turned on a TV here was FRIENDS with subtitles lol. Just figuring out where the gaps are
Thank goodness it's one of the very few animated shows still on HBO max, so there's a chance for us Finns to catch up before they decide to get rid of those too.
