My dog would hide packs of ramen in the couches and under blankets. She never opened them, just carried them around until they disintegrated.

My Great Dane Savannah used to steal cartons of tomatoes, eat them then hide the carton . I cant tell you how many times I thought I had lost my mind searching for tomatoes that I swore I bought but where are they only to find the empty carton under the couch...lol I miss that dog..

Oh I don't know if it's forgotten, my husky goes into "prepper" mode with some treats n toys, she knows exactly where her treasure is buried, it gets moved about various hidey holes for ages before she finally brings it out "into the open" I swear she was a witness protection agent in a past life 🤣

We have to closely monitor one to make sure he doesn’t “bury” bits of bread crust in the sofa or carpet. (The other one reliably eats everything immediately.)

My college dog, a rescue Doberman was horribly mistreated and starved. She used to steal loaves of bread and hide them all through out the house. It took awhile for me and my housemates to figure it out. We just thought one of us had a bread related eating disorder. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Our dog is the opposite. We once took to our relative’s house. Their dog hid her treats in her dog bed. Our dog found that bed and had a feast. Our relative’s response (thankfully) was her dog should have finished the treats when she got them.
