My vulnerable family were in hospital in Nov. A panel of 5 doctors in his room on the surgical & transplant ward attributed his serious inflammation to the prior (first) Covid infection. We were masked. They were unmasked. Utterly absurd.
P.S. 2 weeks later the ward closed due to a Covid outbreak.
I went to 3 indoor places yesterday: Academy Sports and two separate inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. I saw more staff members wearing masks at Academy (5) than at both hospitals combined (0).
Went to Shoppers Drug Mart for my next covid vax this morning, wearing my N95 as I always do outside the house. The pharmacist who administered the vaccine in a small enclosed office space did not wear a mask. In hindsight, I should've asked him to mask up -- I wonder if he would've?

Like a surgeon doesn't wear one for 14+ hours??
