To paraphrase the late Sam Kinison, we have the problem that the people aren't where the power is. To get the people to the power, you need transportation and logistics that are just not in place currently.

On top of the transportation and logistics problem, we have the further problem that for most people, health insurance is tied to their job or their spouse's job. You can't take a day off without risking EVERYTNING.

The other day I saw someone on Facebook posting about a one-week Nestlé boycott. Rather than saying "what kept you, people have been boycotting Nestlé since before I was born," I said "it's great that new generations are joining the Nestlé boycott, did you know it's older than I am?" Good for them.

People just refuse to understand how LORGE the US is!

I live in a comparatively small state and it's still a two hour drive to the state capital. Which I have made/taken people to for protests and other activities.

Yeah, ok, you’re right. They’re doing what they can with what they got, but they can just about handle daily commuters let alone throngs of multinational crowds who don’t know a blessed thing about the area.
