I need to try ToG and Frieren. I hear they are both so good.

ToG is one of my fav reads, fantastic world building and very lore dense. Frieren is a great emotional ride. Very different series but both great in their own right

omg i have never met like anyone who likes Claymore!! one of my all time faves. if ur looking for a cute show i always recommend More Than a Married Couple but Not Lovers!! it’s also one of my faves. i would also recommend Classroom of the Elite that’s another great one

Claymore is top 3, sometimes number 1 for me of all time favorites. I love it and hope one day they do a remake. Also, More than a married couple is one of my favorite romance. I read it and then watched it. Still has one of the most emotional scenes when she breaks down.

I loved S1 of Vinland Saga. Fell off mid S2 sadly. And Evangelion is amazing though I need to rewatch it because it feels like its been a few decades since I saw it lol

I loved S2 of Vinland Saga, more than S1 actually lol even though it's very slow paced.
I recomend watching EVA a second time, there might be a lot of things you missed on first watch (well, that's what happened to me lol)

I’m not a big anime person, but if you haven’t watched Dr. Stone it’s funny, me and a friend watched it together and had a good time. (Season 1 is good, I don’t actually remember if I got much further)

FMA brotherhood, hunterxhunter, and Vinland saga are the only anime that have made me SOB and I recommend them to everyone. Also mob psycho 100 fundamentally changed my brain chemistry and made me a better person!

Hahaha, no, not really. I'm pretty much like you. Saw a lot of Anime back in my 20s but I didn't watch much of the newer ones (even Tokyo Ghoul is kinda "old" now) so I could only recommend older ones? 😅 But I'm with your daughter: Frieren is awesome and Demon Slayer is fun. :)

I love Attack on Titan but who doesn't? It's so popular, it feels weird to recommend it to anyone. Same with Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Have to say I'm not much of a Shonen Enjoyer. Really not my favorite Anime Genre.

Cowboy Bebop is what I grew up on and one of the all time greats.
Erased was the first like psychological anime I watched years ago and it was amazing. Summer Time Rendering is a new one I just watched that is alot like it.

Ill have to check out the spider one. Havent seen it before.
