They don't fit in their communities after, bcuz their THINKING changes
But university folks can be intolerant as well. We have to hear them like we would tribal leaders or Appalachia elders

Some therapists ask clients, "Do you prefer to be right, or to have healthy relationships?"
There's going to be some on all sides that're entrenched, but the process of open dialogue & HEARING the roadblocks builds unity 🤝 in the majority
