The old ones were edgy as well, eating a live chick in front of 5 separate wife’s in separate towns then farting in each of your illegitimate children’s faces is a possibility within the first game. I’m more worried about it feeling like something Joss Whedon cooked up.

Every couple of years, I fire up the original Neverwinter Nights for much the same reason. In 2025, it's a clunky mess with jarringly bad graphics, but I still adore it.

Totally get it, Kingdom Hearts, Crusader Kings II, King's Quest (2015) and VP Lenneth and AOM are all comfort games for me. Only wish I had more time to play them (all my time is spent reading and writing these days it seems).

They're so bad, I love them. Fable 1 I can max a character out after about an hour of gameplay or try to headshot every enemy in the game. It has such grand promise and live up to like 20% of that promise.
