I used to have a job downtown with a coworker who lived in Oxnard. She drove to the end of the North Hollywood red line station every day and rode the subway in the rest of the way. Sounded awful to me.
As someone who doesn’t live down there, isn’t she kinda doing it right, though? Skipping the worst of the traffic by taking the train, living by the beach, and it’s probably more affordable than Santa Monica and Venice, right?
