I watched this and was grateful that we have judges who are standing up for the rule of law and the constitution. Also, the current batch of DOJ lawyers seem to be totally inept in their representation of the government at these judicial hearings. They did pass a bar exam somewhere, right?

I served as reactor operator on ballistic missile nuclear submarine throughout Nixon's term, US Navy 1968-74.
Other than Kent State conversations, not much politics. Lots of training and retraining.

On the boat, at sea, submerged, on patrol, politics was not a topic of conversation. Ever. Not that we deliberately avoided it. On patrol we talked about the condition of the boat's systems that keep us alive. What component sounded a little iffy. What to do if things don't go as planned.

3 - People.
