In Oct. 1936, a group of approx 3000 fascists led by Oswald Mosely, an entitled aristocrat & failed politician, intended to "march" down Cable Street in London's East End. The fascists were beaten back by 250,000+anti-fascist Londoners. A mural now marks the site.
