There's this phenomenon where trans girls who need care aren't taken seriously until it's put through a vague and unhelpful"We all struggle!" lens. That's basically only caring about my and kind's plights when you don't have to spotlight it or listen to us. And it's really starting to weigh on me.

Trans girls who are trying to transition are being treated as transmedicalist freaks on sigh. Our desires, wants, and goals all instantly become other people's business. Then I get piled on for saying "I'm a trans woman who wants to actually look like a woman." How you feel about that is irrelevant.

Medically transitioning is to being trans as sleeping with the same sex is to being gay; there are valid reasons (money/safety/not there yet/etc.) why one may not be doing it, but it speaks to what being trans IS...

What gets me is that a lot of people who don't transition can't leave well enough alone. Instead of doing their thing and letting me and kind do ours, they insist on making us feel bad.

What are trans people who do transition supposed to? Accept being yelled at for wanting to transition? Please...
