I was hoping for a bit of passage today. A Whinchat/Wheatear/Tree Pipit sort of day but it was not to be. Hopefully Grimley is saving all that for next Saturday #worcsbirds #westmidsalldayer

Since I posted this all 3 have turned up, plus Spotted Redshank & Greenshank. Chatting to @midlandsbirder.bsky.social earlier we were just hoping Grimley hasn't peaked too early 🤞 #worcsbirds #westmidsalldayer
Today was too early for Grimley to truly shine on the Autumn passage. Next Saturday it will really kick off. All sorts will drop in whinchat/tree pipit will be minor pickings 😂😂
Hi Mike, local RSPB group developing this area, 45 acres in all, as a nature reserve. We do regular bird surveys, had some good stuff in the past. Jack snipe, wood warbler.
Hi Nick, ahh OK great. I read about the project at Hallow, however I wasn't sure what land it includes. Great news for the area. It doesn't feel that any of the land north of there up to (but of course excluding) Wildgoose is currently being managed with nature in mind.
