This is where NET is misleading. Best NET team was VT at 27th… but they weren’t even close to the tournament until they won ACCT. The best win overall was UNC at 33 which 1) wasnt even a Q1 win for wake and 2) was seen as a very meh team until their NCAAT run

I’d be curious to see the NET rating of the best team we beat in 2021-2022. Not sure it is as high as Michigan is now.
