A $2 bill, my uncle gave it to me many years ago and told me it was a reminder he was constantly praying for me with God by his side. So, I keep it in my car.
OK, after reading this thread I'm clearly some kind of psychopath. I have a big ol' wooden baseball bat...for self defense. But I can see your choices are way better. I have to adjust my priorities.
I lived in FL & lots of Bridges, so I keep a window hammer that has a knife to cut seat belts. Grew up in CT & we had a major bridge collapse. Stays in the back of one’s mind!
Okay, I'll play - Toilet Paper (actually I keep that in my purse). And Lemon Drops (not a candy person but if I'm tired, these things are great and will last for years in glove compartment). Also reusable grocery bags for ... um ... groceries. I hate the plastic bags.
Blanket, tarp, snow brush, work gloves. A ResQ tool lives on everybody's keys carabiners. The reusable grocery bags live in the car but that's routine.
Box of tissues, extra paper napkins, tons of reusable grocery bags, raincoat, umbrella, picnic blanket, spare jacket, dog leash gear, and some found turkey feathers.
blankets (traditional and mylar), nutrition bars, bottled water, shovel, knife, high tension rope, high power flashlight, tire inflation pump, cane with a surprise inside, battery packs, a roll of toilet paper.
Jumper cables, sugary hard candies, thermal blanket, extra oil, umbrella, window scraper, scissors, handful of change. Geez, maybe my car is an emergency vehicle.. lol 😆
