Nonetheless you are brokenhearted, and I wish that could be changed. As soon as I can type it in I will send a great poem for you called "Throw Yourself Like Seed." Helped a good friend in a similar situation. Do you have help with the place?
Glad you're being looked after. The kind of stress you've been under is...just f'd up (I assume that's a medical term). Hitting you from all sides: emotional, practical, physical. Thanks for checking in. You know we all love and care for u and are supporting u in every way that we can. xo
Do u have someone to go w/you? I found in the past Iβd tune out during Dr appts. Maybe youβre better at staying focused than I am. It may be helpful to audio record the appt. Write down questions you have b4 & make any notes you need to. Iβm hoping you find answers & even better - solutions. π
Totally agree. My sister was with me in the ER with what turned out to be a bilateral pulmonary embolism a couple yrs ago. Thank God because I didn't remember half of what they said. Same with some follow-up appts after I got out of the hospital. She took lots of notes which helped so much later.
Thank you. It was really scary. My neighbor's daughter had a 35 yr old friend who died from her PE a few months before I had mine. I feel incredibly fortunate to be alive. I'm glad you're okay too.
They'll get it all sorted out. Try not to worry.
It may help you stay calmer if you bring someone with you. A second pair of ears never hurts. Or maybe you can tape the appointment so you can refer back to it if needed.
I know it's scary right now but, trust me, they'll get it sorted out. β₯οΈ
Oh my goodness. I'm glad you're getting all checked out and tested, etc. I'm sure the doctors will get this figured out and get it dealt with. Try to relax, do some deep breathing and get some rest. Hang in there, Beth. β€οΈ
Take care of yourself! Delegate what you can, when you can. And remember, the dogs and all the other animals are grieving, too (I know you know) and they need you present π€π€π€
If you can, write your questions down beforehand and take them in with you. Iβm new to cardiology issues, so I go in with lots of questions. That list really helps!
Unnerving to be sure. But they're being thorough with tests (scary stuff/waiting for results) and they will sort it, no doubt. Keep in mind, we NYers are blessed to have world-class clinicians right here in our own backyards. With their care, you will be fine! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
