This person came to the U.S. through the legal process (applied in Mexico) and applied for asylum, he had a court date set in April to hear his case. Instead he was sent to a notorious hard labor prison camp in a foreign country on these flimsy charges without so much as a single hearing.

ICE policy says a person can be deemed a gang member if any ICE officer notes two "Gang Membership Identification Criteria." In Mr. Reyes Barrios' case, that appears to have been:
1) A tattoo modeled off the Real Madrid logo
2) A picture from social media of him throwing the horns.
That was it!
