Just a reminder, as you look outside and notice it's already getting dark 😱, that today is the earliest sunset of the year (15:51 in London). From tomorrow the sunsets slowwwwly start getting later again. (Sunrises don't start getting earlier until Dec 30th hence solstice on 21st.) YOU ARE WELCOME.

Here, 100 miles due north of Greenwich, sunset is at 15:42 with that slow crawl until Monday, 15:43
Sunrise still getting later each morning, from 8:05 to 8:08
Soon be Spring, the best time of year in England.
Cheered me up hearing that sunset will be getting later tomorrow.
In Belleek (on the A46) sunrise will be at 0854 at the end of the year.
And at Baltasound sunset will be at 1453 on Christmas Day.
I’d always assumed that sunrises and sunsets would start getting earlier later at the same point.
