It was, flew into Calgary from the UK, the drove in the RV to Banff, up to Lake Louise, then to Jasper, onwards to Radium Springs via Golden then back to Calgary. A trip of a life time.
One of the most incredible sights I’ve seen in person. We had to stop a second time on our way back down the Icefields Parkway to see it on a clear day
I just got here today. Thanks for posting the wonderful photo - if you have not seen the non-stop stream of ugly eye-burning fake AI generated landscapes that visually dominate Facebook lately... don't go looking. It's the stuff of cheap. low budget nightmares.
It's definitely worth it! Banff and Jasper Natl parks both offer INSANELY beautiful winter hikes - sometimes the waterfalls even freeze! It's honestly a beautiful sight to see!
Beautiful! This part of Canada has been on my bucket list for years- we’ve just booked a trip from the UK for next June so hopefully I’ll be able to see this in person 😊
Oh my. I roomed with a Canadian gal at college for about 6 months. Her name was Sonia… 57 years ago. This place was special to her. I hope she’s well. Thanks for sparking a nice memory.
