Free buses are good, but need to be paired with standing up for congestion pricing.

NYC's biggest problem isn't prices. It's fascism.

Giving billions upon billions to NYPD and telling them to arrest fare jumpers while hailing them as heroes helped usher in fascism, though.

Yes, but it never happens. That’s the point. They all somehow get away with it. I think it’s an easy way to propose stuff and get in but it never gets done. Need something more concrete than just taxing corps and rich people. Nobody passes those laws or even discusses them. :/

I think the point is give me something more concrete than tax the rich. That tune does not work because of every one working in gov being in pockets of the rich or pandering to them in some way or the other. That is not to say I don't like the guy. I just want something more concrete.

We have free busses in my tiny county in WA (Island County). I don’t know how they passed it, but it’s fantastic.
