one really interesting thing about congestion pricing is that Trump basically said “I am killing congestion pricing right now”, got a friendly puff piece in the New York Post, and then every other media outlet went along with it even though it turned out he actually did not kill congestion pricing

I think we really need to repeat, and keep top of mind - The federal employee firings are NOT ABOUT SAVING MONEY. What is spent on those employees is peanuts compared to most of the money in the government. Firing federal employees sows confusion, depletes morale, and degrades government service.
