When I lived in Austin the blooming of the Bluebonnets was a big deal. Robert Earl Keen even wrote a song about it. On Sunday morning I would see church-going families plant their kids in a patch by the highway for pictures. It was kind of cute.
Not too far then, about 90 minute drive on the 303 etc. Beautiful countryside there. Here in East Devon there are quite a few sites which look exactly like your picture this time of year. I dread to think what would become of them if visitors who fail to respect places knew of their locations.
Is that lavender? Lavender is everywhere these days. Even at the green mermaid coffee shop. Must be trending. I guess in nature it’s always trending. Or seasonally.
