There is an option under Settings > Content and Media to turn off Show Reposts.

As others noted, you can use the "Mutuals" and similar custom feeds like "OnlyPosts" to hide reposts as well too.

It is an oddly missing feature. In the past I have unfollowed a non-mutual or two (before the site got huge) because there were a bit too many reposts from them and it just made my following feed too big.

That being said, third party apps like Deck Blue might have it?

I had to mute one person whose original posts I really like, but SPAM reposts on a particular keyword that I don't especially care about. I wanna see his posts but I need his posts GONE
