For 25 years, I’ve been taking a medicine for a sleep disorder that is often prescribed for ADHD. My neurologist retired & my regular doctor had me take a drug test to make sure I had the medicine in my system & rule out other narcotics. And sign a form with 22 rules. Is this new? Frustrating

If you need a caretaker just say so. Call your insurance company and ask for a caseworker. They'll give you one. But unless you're on a ventilator they still won't make your appointments for you. Man up.

Folks with ADHD cannot just force their brain to work normally just like diabetics can't just willpower their way into making insulin. It's a disability and there is no reason to create so many barriers to treatment.

Definitely is. I couldn't get medication without roasting myself, because otherwise I had to either:

A. Get 1000 to 5000 dollars for an eval

B. Apply and successfully get Medicaid.
