i do know that if it goes badly for us — and i am not yet convinced it's going to — i am going to be an actual supporter of cascadia, rather than an ironic one.

here's the only doomer take i'll have for the night. if trump wins, and, in particular, if he wins the popular vote, which i don't think he will, i don't know how the west coast and the south and the midwest remain a union. i don't think that happens. but if it does, i don't know what's next.
