Oh my god I just realized he's like that kid that keeps annoying you by like poking you or making weird noises or something and only promises to go away when you give him a piece of your candy or whatever. I know because I was that kid, when I was like 10. Now I'm a functional adult. His excuse?
Keeping them tied up in a civil suit bleeds time and money. He's hoping to keep them distracted to do something else. And all of this is simply posturing and bullying them into making a rash decision so they are no longer in his crosshairs. It's a strategy to disable, not a goal to buy.
Is he implying that if he were to buy it he would keep it as a non-profit entity? Also his offer was refused, so what does it matter if he withdraws it or not
His offer has been already refused by Altman so deciding to withdraw it is irrelevant as it won't be accepted anyway. Make stupid announcements for visibility is lame. I also withdraw my offer to buy Apple in case anyone believes/matters I am serious. 😏
