Cutting their way to prosperity—because it is a PROVEN method in sectors public and private. They’re always going to make the little people pay for the sins of the C-suite and BoD.
I buy organic coffee and organic milk and make my own. Mine doesn’t taste like a liquid candy bar… Starbucks should improve their product and people would come back imo…
They spent big bucks on a crappy CEO and a big advertising push yet can’t take care of their baristas and other employees properly…it’s a no Joe for me kinda place.
Your delusional if you dont think a recession isn’t around the corner
- federal layoffs
-layoffs from federal funding (research, social services)
-layoffs from IA & robotics
-deportation of cheap labor=infation
-Tariffs cause higher cost & job loss
Fantastic. That's another 1100 people looking for jobs alongside the 1000s that Trump has already fired and alongside 1000s already looking for jobs due to recession, downsizing and off shoring.
Years ago I toured a coffee plantation in Tanzania. They showed us the process and how the best beans are selected for premium products. Then they showed us a pile of misshapen rejected beans and told us that Starbucks buys those. Ya don't say?
This should help the Starbucks brand disappear. Firing people to streamline means only one thing. We’re not buying what you sell. You make a place unwelcoming and grow a toxic environment you won’t win us back by selling the same shitty burned coffee after firing people.

Fire 1,100 people.
The amount of tone deaf these CEOs have makes William Hung look like a pitch perfect maestro by comparison.

But hey, almost 90 million of you decided it wasn’t worth your while to vote.
