Tesla is recalling 46,096 Cybertruck vehicles in the US over an exterior panel that can detach while driving, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said https://reut.rs/4bHXpnS

I think fElon has aspirations to do more than run doge for tRump. fElon takes more power to himself every day. fElon and Putin also have phone calls. I wonder if they are plotting to replace tRump once he has totally destroyed the U.S. Putin would love to see a foreigner running the U.S.
Elon's fascist racist bigoted beliefs have been on full display since April 2022 (when he bought Twitter). SO, if you bought a Tesla in the past 3 years, you suck and I have ZERO sympathy for you.
I’m laughing and gagging at the same time because there’s so much truth in that absurdity. 🤢😂🤢 In fact, more truth in your comments than most headlines I’m seeing.
This is a fun one because they're not actually being recalled for being death traps but because the exterior panels flying off shouldn't harm anyone in the vehicle, this recall is entirely because the NHTSA rightfully thinks throwing shrapnel at other drivers is a bad thing!
we have a new “what’s considered classy when rich people do it, but not when poor people do it”. now it’s taking government money and holding your car together with tape
Elon Musk needs to focus on his car company instead of attempting to destroy America’s government’ including social security, medicare, medicaid and many other governmental agencies.
Elon’s vision of efficiency: a truck that self-disassembles on the highway. If this is the model for DOGE’s government overhaul, expect agencies to start vanishing in real-time.
Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
I guess the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is getting disbanded tomorrow...
So this recall is only happening now, after a Youtuber pulled one apart with his bare hands, and not, say, when the problem was discovered but wasn't famous on the internet yet?
What an absolute disaster of a vehicle made by an awful company owned by an awful person. Who are the ignorant people who actually buy these things? I mean just a few months ago they were recalled because the accelerator pedal (which was apparently just held in place with adhesive) could get stuck.
Ah yes, the Cybertruck, Tesla’s bold leap into the future, held together by kindergarten craft glue. Who knew "indestructible" meant "self-disassembling at highway speeds"? At this rate, the only self-driving feature is the doors flinging themselves off before you even start the engine.
Yeah, there’s some sort of pull cord somewhere in the door if the electric looks don’t open but good luck finding it if you don’t know or are currently on FIRE!
Also the hidden *interior* releases are absolutely useless to people who are *outside* the vehicle and trying to open the doors to help the occupants who may have been knocked unconscious by the collision
Yep that right. And since these vehicle weights are very high odds are those crumple zones aren’t going to be as effective. I wouldn’t even consider taking a ride in one. ☠️
What is doing with them turning them into tanks? You could trade it in but maybe you'd be better off selling them to auto shops in the US who might need the scrap metal!
Did Elon Musk use a shell company in Canada to purchase his own Tesla's before an EV tax credit expired in January in Canada cheating the Canadian Government out of forty three million dollars, is that true? Is that why rows of Tesla's are stacked up in Canadian lots and nobody can answer why?
Cybertruck owners had to agree not to sue in order to buy. They're only recalling because everyone else on the road can still sue & Tesla's not going to win in court arguing the truck they literally glued together is safe
Got it. But many are avoiding calling him "Elon" because he has a team scouring the Internet for anyone criticizing him or Tesla. So, I'll call him Elon because I am not afraid of him. You do you.
It would be a terrible shame if those recalls happen at the same time as the Tesla's protests 🔥up at the dealerships. Just saying, it would be terrible. I hear they are prone to 🔥s.
A lot of cars use adhesives. Your windshield for instance. It doesn’t pop off because they worked out you need 6mm thick bead of a specific product to accommodate flex. There’s also materials expansion rates and water (ice) intrusion to account for and Tesla is apparently doing none of that.
In Germany a poll asked “would you buy a Tesla?” Initially the replies were negative, suddenly it turned around. This poll was shut down when they discovered only 2 IP addresses were used to flood the poll with positive replies. Manipulation Musk’s 2 servers tried ti change poll. Good work Germany
I thought the better plan was to have that panel write a letter explaining what it’s accomplished last week? It may not even be needed at all. #efficiency
Cybertruck is “prone to embrittlement”.
No other truck has the equivalent.
Not a great idea to build a truck with glue.
As everyone knows, use a fucking screw.
Tesla cybertruck. Failed 5 Safety Critical points in England vehicle testing centre.
Passengers Safety.
Pedestrian Safety
Impact Safety crumple zone nonexistent.
Overall weight exceeds permitted weight for class B licence.
HGV license required.

I love seeing Tesla being destroyed, but burning their showrooms is a very bad idea. It lets Tesla to claim insurance money rather than them stuck with unsold inventory. It gives MAGA and tRump reasons to impose Martial law to quicken the fall of democracy.
What if MAGA did that to frame #resist?
If it only detaches while driving, there is an obvious software fix to address the problem so owners don’t need to physically bring their trucks to a service center…
I don’t think they have now, or will have, a fix for this problem that will work under real world conditions. This is (another) fundamental flaw in the design and execution of the product.
I saw a video today of a guy literally pulling a Cybertruck to pieces with his bare hands. They look like trash and it seems they are built like trash too.
I thought DOGE would have shut down the Traffic Safety Administration, just to save on glue.
Isn't that what he did with the SEC?
This guy should have been locked for telling everyone he had driver-less cars. Then let 47 people die from misinformation.
My nephew worked at Tesla a long time ago when they were developing the self driving car. He tried to tell them teaching a car to read is dumb...and left to start his own tech business building tech for cars and signs to communicate through technology.

Let me repeat that. Pretty much EVERY cybertruck is being recalled for being death traps.
Tesla is a fucking joke.

🤦♂️
Keep em. No one wants them back.
And I would walk five hundred more
Just to be the man who walked a thousand miles
To avoid a ride in a Tesla
PRICELESS

Tell Leon Muskrat to STFU! And get out of my government!
2) Because he doesn't deserve to be called by his correct name.
3) Don't tell me what to do. Got It?
It's ridiculous how many recalls there have been on this vehicle.
At least with the Cybertruck it's a piece of external trim.
Then - Oh, yes. Let's call it "terrorism."
