Climate change pushing world to choose from two possible directions. Close cooperation based on respect for people & for science or ruthless power blocs not afraid to fight to control diminishing resources (thus making impacts worse for everyone inc the strongest)

I suppose when you have 2 imperial oligarchies who'd rather destroy all of us and the planet than give an inch of ground, it makes sense that they'd get along. Common interest in social war.
how jarring can it be after eight years? also it's not particularly surprising; if there had been christo-fasicst capitalists in the kremlin in the 80s thatcher and reagan would have adored them, too.

They were only anti-communist. They were all pro-Russia, and toss in Helmut Kohl, while we're here.
