🧵 up and down with more info, but I’m hoping this take proves to be correct both here and in general. These executive orders, as terrifying as they are, still need to be implemented to be more than propaganda.

So all of this is to say: we as immigration lawyers are the first point of contact after enforcement operations and can gauge things. I haven't yet seen any of us say that this week was all that unusual. We are neither shocked nor awed
