Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure one reason they’re going so hard so fast right out the gate is to create situations where anyone with any kind of scruples or respect for law has to resign or disobey & get fired.

It was never going to be limited to improperly dropping cases for political reasons. @kenwhite.bsky.social has remarked how affirmatively launching bogus prosecutions is a harder lift, but we see here Bove moving to purge institutional DOJ resistance to doing that. It is likely we'll see some soon.
