We could always choose to do another system, but everyone’s really terrified of that.

Absolutely yes. But... it is the entire Republican Regime, not just Donald. America's racist past and present is one of its main defining features. That and its penchant for violence - its love of guns and glorification of war. And, of course, it's misogyny. They're a package deal: 'America.'
