Ok, are there no white aliens who have overstayed their visa? No white waiters working on a tourist visa, no white foreign students who overstayed on a student visa? No white H1B1 workers still here after losing their sponsors? How is it I only see ICE jamming up brown and black skinned folk? Hmmm

Folks can argue about the relevancy of the “Democratic socialist” label all day. But if that’s what you’re hung up on, you’re missing the larger point. People aren’t chasing labels. They’re chasing change. Real, structural, unapologetic change. 🧵

It's impressive how SCOTUS managed to eviscerate the rule of law on two independent levels: 1) it rewards lawless disregard of court orders; and 2) makes Due Process optional. And, they did so without even explaining their ruling.

They were supposed to be deporting “gang members” and “criminals.” So far, they have kidnapped people working their day jobs and folks lawfully showing up for their immigration court appearances… It was always a lie.

The Iranians are talking about activating sleeper cells in the US. Which means they don’t have any or they wouldn’t be talking about them. They are almost certainly hoping they will inspire stochastic domestic terrorism simply by suggesting it’s a valid response to the attack.

There is no “one and done” in any conflict. The opponent always gets a vote, and unless we’ve prepped for all the things Iran may do we’re gonna have some surprises.

This may be a bridge too far for his base. Time will tell.

MSNBC ‘s Tel Aviv correspondent Matt Bradley makes a telling point. It’s one thing to make a single sortie into Iran and quite another to make any difference to Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Trump has no constitutional authority to take us to war with Iran without authorization from Congress, and Congress has not authorized it.
