'The Boys' but with gods. A good premise for some fun, but every scene had the same tone. Nothing was ever that funny, scary or clever. Sometimes writer/directors have to step back and let in some other talents to make it realise it's potential.

I lasted: one episode.
Very uncomfortable about the 'based on a true story' tag, particularly with the subject matter, and the story didn't grip me enough to overcome that discomfort.
I lasted: five episodes
Actors having power to get tv shows made isn't a bad thing (cf Nicole Kidman) but this is what can happen: a huge cast of quality actors having a great time portraying horrible people clawing each other over meaningless crap. 'Entourage' but in the 60s.
I lasted: 3 episodes and counting. So far so good.
Enjoying this, but I'm not feeling the 'best thing ever' hype. Not in a hurry to devour episodes. Still good, though.
I lasted: until the end of the series.
Guy Ritchie making that difficult transition to telly. It's the same old, same old from him, but so what? It's entertaining, and the cast is great. Max Beesley is a particular standout, he's a long way from his 'heart-throb' phase.
I lasted: until the end
A massive improvement from series 1, but it ain't LOTR. It suffers from not having a single protagonist like Frodo/Bilbo to see the adventure unfold through their eyes. Great moments, but lots of stuff happening that it's difficult to care about.
I lasted: until the end.
Gripping drama about police corruption which rarely sags. Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo are a great pair of protagonists.
