I have a 365 account. Microsoft have just tried to tell me my price has gone up. I signed in and found they’d upped my subscription. If you don’t want Co Pilot (and I don’t) go to cancel recurrent payment and you’ll notice your old plan at your old price is still there. I opted for that. Story over. - ThreadSky

Or just go to LibreOffice… it’s free and about 98% match to all things Office. You won’t notice a difference unless you are a serious advanced user. Easy to import all your existing docs, worksheets etc. And it’s open source.

I have also yet to be presented with a proper use for AI. And I mean *proper* AI not just 'rewrite this for me with some other words from the thesaurus' or 'google this thing for me and give me all the reddit results in a document that people will ridicule me for believing to be true'

I want AI that will be able to recognise if I'm doing similar tasks over and over again and to do them for me. To help me visualise something. Not just help me cheat at interviews and generate strange looking porn involving people with really weird faces and 12 fingers.

I want AI that can vacuum, dust, wash-up dry and put away, cook from the food in the fridge, load dirty clothes into washing machine and unload and hang up clean clothes and fold them when they’re dry and maybe iron them too.

Why don’t tech entrepreneurs see this?!
