We should not underestimate the damage caused by having a third of the country listening to propaganda and lies for hours a day. IDK how we solve this problem with our first amendment, other than universally mocking anyone who watches Fox. We have a world of facts and one of "alternate facts."

Kilmeade: All these deals are going to be better
Jessica: I don't know why you think that's going to be the case. Trump says we have raw deals with Canada and Mexico. He negotiated the USMCA himself. He doesn't have a track record of doing this.

It just can't even when it does more harm than others
(Please let's try to keep holes in the 1A small enough to not let the worms in)
Your plans to make sure that misinformation holes in the 1A are only used against the people you want them to be used against. Unless you are fine giving DeSantis or the next Trump those powers.
I understand you struggle to think at secondary consequences of what you are advocating but please do. Laws do not have morality. They can be used for good or evil.
Or do you only want “bad” propaganda stopped?
If so, who gets to decide what is “bad” propaganda?
And since you taught media you know the Fairness Doctrine never prevented propaganda, right?
And that it was only constitutional for application to broadcast license holders?
